ProFriends VS Camella


Now this is more like it, right? A head-to-head showdown between two competitors though it’s not really bashing and brawling. A battle between two popular property developers sounds more exciting. But what would be the battle be about? It’s more of a comparison between two developments done or being done in the same location.

For the first Pro Friends (Property Company of Friends Inc) and Camella Homes (Vista Land Co.) challenge, the battle ground would be San Fernando, Pampanga. PCFI’s The Palms Lakeshore versus Camella’s Andalusia. Let the battle begin!

Pro-Friends
The Palms Lakeshore boasts of giving buyers a dream lakeside home in a 65-hectare subdivision in a 300-hectare lakeside community that offers fresh air and open space. Residents are ensured with “living serenely without being too far from the city.”










 
Accessibility:
SM San Fernando is less than 10 minutes away by car or by village shuttle. The nearest NLEX exit is less than 5 minutes away. Diosdado Macapagal Airport is 15 minutes away. Hospitals, schools, and malls are nearby.

Camella
Camella Andalusia claims to be “the first Spanish-themed residential development in San Fernando.” Its strategic location of being 30 minutes away from the airport is said to be an advantage for constant travelers. The “8-hectare project is envisioned to satisfy individuals who have the passion for quiet elegance, taste for sophisticated architecture, and desire for a comfortable and placid lifestyle.”








Accessibility:
Located along Mc Arthur Highway, San Agustin, and San Fernando, Andalusia is 30 minutes away from the Diosdado Macapagal Airport and a few kilometers away from Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway (SCTEX). It is also near schools, malls, and hospitals.

The Verdict
I think both have good accessibility to important facilities so the two wins accessibility.

When it comes to model units, both also have their strong points. ProFriends focused on maximizing space while Camella focused on intricacy of design for a more upscale look. The same goes to amenities; both focused on different strengths. ProFriends focused on more paradise-like features while Camella focused on modern-like features.

But when it comes to pricing, ProFriends won since there was a huge difference between the price range. Camella’s Jade home unit (cheapest) is at 3million+ while ProFriends’ Liana (cheapest) is at 980,000. That’s a huge gap even if Jade is at 66 sqm while Liana is at 50 sqm.
