Great Do-It-Yourself Projects for Your Home

Thanks to the Internet, I’ve successfully done a number of do-it-yourself projects. I’m happy whenever I get crafty. I’m also happy when people appreciate the things I’ve done. How about you guys? Do you enjoy getting crafty, too? Well if you do, here are some projects that you might find interesting.

Ring Frame
Found this on austinweddingblog.com and it’s a great place to put your ring on whenever you’re going to wash your hands, use some lotion, and so on. Just bedazzle an old picture frame, stick a pin/nail/hook on it, and display!

Pebble Mat
Saw this on DIYreal.com and I’m planning to do this. I’ll use it as a door mat! I’m planning on customizing it a bit by painting the stones in different colors for a groovy look.

DIY Baby Mobile
Saw this on fabuloushomeblog.com and I think it’s a great idea! It looks chic yet doing it is cheap! Just pick up a nice looking twig/branch, grab some nylon strings and get those origami skills to work. If you’re not talented in origami, why not opt for some cut-outs? Go crazy with shapes – animals, leaves, planets, flowers, hearts… you name it!

Extra Wall Storage
This was a great find on DIYShowOff.com. I store my Orly nail polish collection in a big plastic storage bin and it’s quite a mess. This DIY can help me proudly display my collection in a neat and cute way. Plus, I get to maximize space.
