Pro-Friends: Popular Home Builders

There are so many contractors and home builders in the country today yet when it comes to affordable mass home building, there are names that automatically resonate in our mind or head. For me, it’s ProFriends (Property Company of Friends Inc), Camella Homes (Vista Land Company), and the latest from Ayala Land, BellaVita.

With humble beginnings rooted from small pocket developments, Pro-Friends has been in business for 12 years and only recently did it decide to venture into something bigger – estate developments and medium-rise condo building.

The most notable project from PCFI is Lancaster Estates, now Lancaster New City, located/bordering Gen. Trias, Imus, and Kawit, Cavite. Thus, the name was changed since the 1000-hectare project consists of such vastness with great amenities like square, hall, school, church and more.

Pro Friends also has its ongoing Bellefort Estates, Carmona Estates, Cedar Residences, Garden Grove Village, Greensborough Subdivision,  Montefaro Village, and Las Verandas Villas II projects in Cavite.

Apart from those, the property developer also has projects in Iloilo (Monticello Villas and Parc Regency Residences) and Pampanga (The Palms Lakeshore). It is also currently venturing into a medium-rise condominium in Quezon City, the Ilustrata Residences. Visit profriends.com for more details on the house models and prices offered.

Camella Homes
Camella has been building homes for over 37 years beginning from low-cost homes and communities and eventually venturing into mid-rise and luxurious high-rises. Having building for so long, Camella Homes has now communities developed in Mega Manila, North Luzon, South Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao. But Camella is still offering low-cost homes (I think).

With so many projects developed in numerous many locations, a variety of house models and prices are available. Just check out their website camellahomes.net for further details.

Bella Vita
Who doesn’t know the surname Ayala, right? So my first thought upon hearing about Bella Vita is that it would be a pricey estate/subdivision. But after further research, I was surprised at the low costs. Upon further research again, I read that it aims to let minimum wage workers or those with so little budget to invest in a home of their own, too. I’m impressed since Ayala always ventures into developing grand or luxurious homes, condos, and malls. Way to go Ayala!

BellaVita is currently developing homes in Gen. Trias, Cavite; Porac, Pampanga; Tayabas, Quezon; Alaminos and San Pablo, Laguna; Lipa and Balayan, Batangas. I am not sure what amenities are available in Bella Vita communities though.

Since it just recently started, there are only a few resources about it. I am curious to know more about it, too, since this could let fellow property developers to look into such very low-cost housing projects; thus, paving the way for more minimum wage earners to have multiple options when choosing a home or location.

Did I miss out on any other popular home builders? What are your takes on the ones I mentioned? I would greatly appreciate your opinions so comment away! J

P.S. Keep on visiting my blog for further updates on these property developers!
