PROFRIENDS VS CAMELLA (Website)

Okay, so I did a ProFriends versus Camella post before regarding two projects they both have in San Fernando City, Pampanga. I will do another (similar projects in the same place again) in the future. Last time, Pro-Friends won. Let’s see who will win the next time.

In the meantime, the next battle would be about the websites of the two. I have hung around a couple of times in both websites. Here’s my assessment.

Pro Friends

Camella

URL
When it comes to the url, Camella did a good job of adding .ph since it quickly gives users an idea where this business is based. Both have redirected .htaccess as well, making it even more convenient for users (sorry, for being a bit too geeky there).

Layout Design
The Camella website stuck to its logo’s colors which is good. But I like Pro-Friends’ blue scheme even if its logo is green in color. Why? Blue has a calming effect and according to Huffingtonpost, the color stands for strength and trust. Successful brands that used the blue color are Facebook, Twitter, Intel, Wordpress, and more.

Font choice is great. No Comic Sans here! Haha!

Both ProFriends and Camella did a good job with placing banner images at the top and making it very prominent. Props, too, for not being too long (vertically or lengthwise) since it is tiring to scroll down many times. But there’s just a waste of space at PCFI’s middle part though. Are they going to add more info on that said space? I don’t know.

Features
Both have the necessary features for a business website namely the quick search tool bar, property or home finder options, social media buttons, contact info, videos, and news. But Pro Friends take the cake on this one for its chat feature. It is fully functional. I know because I hung around their website and they automatically initiate the chat when they detect you. Usually, people rant about phone lines and other means of contact being unavailable. So this is a good sign for PCFI.

User Interface
Regarding user interface, both are great. Links are working; loading time is good, and visuals are nice.

The Verdict
It’s a tie. Both websites are great, nothing very big or drastic to criticize about. It’s good that they have dedicated time and effort into their websites. Many people now use the Internet to get information since it’s quick and easy rather than calling and asking about everything or going to the office just to get some basic information.

Do you agree with my verdict? Or not? How about with my assessment? Visit their websites and make your own assessment. J Then go ahead and comment away in the comments section! I’ll be waiting!

Lancaster Home Update: So we tried to request for a house viewing through our trusted agent. He told us he will but he just can’t give a specific date yet since it only just begun (the building phase). If we go there, we’ll see nothing yet but an empty lot. LOL! Sorry, for being excited much! Haha!
